EXC4 CE marking accreditation

Tadley Engineering has BSEN 1090 accreditation

Tadley Engineering has successfully implemented a Factory Production Control system (FPC) to BSEN 1090-1. Our FPC certificate covers the design and manufacture (including coded welding) of structural steel work up to and including Execution Class 4 (EXC4) as defined in EN 1090-2. EXC4 is applied to special structures or structures with extreme consequences of a structural failure as required by national provisions.

Large component machining (Integrex e500)

Mazak Integrex e500 commissioned

To aid manufacture and machining of large components, Tadley Engineering have installed and commissioned the latest Integrex e500 from Mazak. With full 5 axis machining capability, the machine is capable of turning large components up 800mm in diameter and 3 metres in length. Urgent Operational Requirement

Tadley Engineering delivers Urgent Operational Requirement

Tadley Engineeering is proud to announce successful delivery of an Urgent Operational Requirement (UOR) for the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD). The UOR required the manufacture and machining of modification kits for the Sea King helicopter.

AS9100 Quality System

This builds on our existing ISO9001:2008 certification and confirms our commitment to meeting the high quality standards expected by our customers in the delivery of our products and services.

Powder coating plant

Tadley Powder Coatings (a division of Tadley Engineering) is pleased to confirm that its new powder coating plant is fully operational. The plant operates a conveyorized line capable of coating components up to 4 metres in length. An off line facility is available for larger products.

Chinook MVGS contract award

Tadley Engineering is proud to announce that it has been selected by the Chinook IPT (UK MoD) to manufacture the Minacity Vehicle Guidance System (MVGS) for the Chinook helicopter.

LIGO machining contract award

Tadley Engineeering is proud to announce that it has been selected by the Rutherford Appleton Laboratories to manufacture the large and small precision machined components for the advanced Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO). The upgrade to the LIGO instruments and observatories is intended to enhance scientific research into gravitational wave astronomy.
